Biographical Note: John H. Coe (Ph.D., University of California, Irvine) is the director of the Institute for Spiritual Formation at Biola University, La Mirada, CA. He is also an associate professor of spiritual theology and philosophy at the Talbot School of Theology and Rosemead School of Psychology as well as the founding editor of and contributor to the Journal of Spiritual Formation and Soul Care.
